Kobe x Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro “Soft Yellow” Drops Overseas on June 6

The legacy of Kobe Bryant continues to grow in 2025 — not just through his signature shoes, but now also with special Nike Air Force 1 editions. One of the most exciting releases this year is the Kobe x Nike Air Force 1 Low Protro “Soft Yellow”, inspired by a unique moment in Kobe’s career.

Design Details

This Air Force 1 draws inspiration from a famous image of Kobe practicing in checkered pajama pants while recovering from a broken hand. The design includes:

• Wide checkered laces
• Soft yellow leather upper with purple accents
• Kobe’s signature on the midsole instead of the usual “AIR”
• Large “8” jersey number on the heel tab (and likely “24” on the other)
• Mamba logo tongue tags
• Custom insoles showing Kobe in his pajamas
• Mini Sheath logos replacing the usual star traction on the outsole

Inside the shoe, you’ll find a drop-in ReactX foam insole, similar to other Kobe Protro models. Every detail is carefully chosen to tell a story and honor Mamba’s legacy.
